On Friday 29th May, members were treated to an exclusive screening of our wearable art show, which premiered at the State Festival last month – a perfect way to round off the evening following our annual AGM.
The night brought members together to connect, reflect, and celebrate a fabulous 2025 festival and everything that followed – with a first look at what's coming in the lead up to Fringe 2027.

sir david and fringe
On Friday 8 May, the Castlemaine Town Hall played host to a rare and remarkable spectacle.
To celebrate Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday, Castlemaine Fringe presented a wildly entertaining variety show featuring an extraordinary mix of local performers. Singing, dancing, comedy, theatre, circus – and moments impossible to categorise – all unfolding within one vibrant, creative ecosystem.
A huge thank you to every performer, volunteer, and everyone who came along and supported the night. Your generosity goes directly toward making the Castlemaine Fringe Festival happen.

WILD OTTER CLUB
On Saturday 5 September, the Castlemaine Fringe teamed up with The Wild Otter Club for a high-energy night of electronic music, dancing, costumes and community.
With four DJs, dance performances and a packed dance floor, it was a fantastic night of fun — and a great fundraiser supporting the 2027 Castlemaine Fringe Festival.
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable night!
