ARTIST CALL OUT - It's A Kind Of Magic - Wearable Arts Catwalk extravaganza!

 

Emerging and established artists of all ages and abilities are are invited to design and create a wearable arts piece to be worn in a fabulous and fantastical runway show, presented by Castlemaine Fringe, as part of the Castlemaine State Festival on Saturday 28th March 2026. 

 

Participating artists will choose a piece of music to present their work on the catwalk on (1 min of music per entry) and to nominate a person (if not themselves) to wear the outfit on the catwalk  (think performance piece, not fashion parade!) 

 

Artists can choose to enter up to 3 pieces in any of the categories listed on the form. Artists 10 and under have their own category, young people between 10-18  can enter any of the categories. 

 

There is a small artist registration fee ($20 full, $10 under 18's) for each work submitted to support the costs of the event, and a max of 3 entries per artist.
